What say you about Jeff Sessions

Happier days

I am thinking our own Gene Mattechek would tend to agree with this Michael Reagan analysis, as he has expressed similar (he is quite capable of holding forth so he can speak for himself).    So please read this fairly short Townhall article and ponder the woulda coulda shouldas.

Mr. Trump’s Good Friend Jeff

Reagan’s point is a worthy angle as far as it goes,  to the extent not having any unbiased investigation into allegations of Russian meddling would have given the media even more room to conjure up all manner of BS.  Others have expressed the general opinion that “daddy” (Trump) has the situation well in hand. Others are just all WTF (to use the vernacular).

We appreciate to some extent that the congressional investigation has helped to expose the anti-Trump media and the swamp/ intelligence agencies and the DOJ.

But Mueller and his team are not out for justice but to get Trump. And Session’s allowed that to happen. But the fall-out of firing him may be not what is best now, but in justice, it should not have come to this. Sessions need not have been appointed to DOJ.  Someone independent of  the campaign should have been placed as AG for even better appearances than Session’s recusal.   Things are unfolding so that the real Democrat treachery as  regards foreign players is being unambiguously revealed. But I don’t think Sessions has helped it along.

Everything that has come out has been pretty much in spite of Sessions and that is not facilitating justice. Another AG would have more definitively facilitated justice while not allowing the drawing out of this desperate anti-Trump frenzy apart from serious balanced investigation. Again, as DLH as pounded on relentlessly,  . . . where is Huber . . . where is Horowitz?

One Response to What say you about Jeff Sessions

  1. Eugene Mattecheck Jr says:

Of course. I’ve seen a very similar thing somewhere, could be same one. Since I first said the feud was to give Sessions cover and that real things were happening on the down-low. I take the long view, and I’ll have to acquire a taste for crow if Ol’ Jeff lets me down. We are coming into the start of the campaign. 2 months we’ll have a reckoning. Times printed that “Witch story” today. Thinking about O’Donnell, Sharon Angle, Roy Moore. And a dozen more. So many lost seats. Some would no doubt be problematic on legislation, but they’d caucus with us for committees and judges. I’m hoping they don’t put the Widow McCain for his replacement. A good young Senator gets 2 free years to establish a record. The power of incumbency. I hope their Governor is smart.
