“There is a real danger that we will leave future generations only rubble, deserts and refuse,”
If “rubble deserts and refuse” were the true lot of man and not an ignorant calumny, there obviously would be no future generations. The Pope’s rhetoric is unbecoming to say the least.
The clear and present danger is a Pope with a Marxist economic analysis to the detriment of the poor and an undisciplined mouth expounding not a lot of logical rigor, objective science or commitment to the Bible and Roman Catholic tradition (in our humble, arguably just as guilty, opinion) — rather, a cafeteria pontiff who likes the limelight too much.
