Colin Powell and Hillary Clinton deserve each other . . .

  • After all, they’re Democrats
  • Powell admittedly befriends climbers and greedy people,* like Hillary
  • When they say “I’ve got your back” they mean it, in a certain way
  • We wish Powell would just take his denari and shove it

 London Daily Mail today . . .

Israel has ‘200 nukes all pointed at Iran’, former US secretary of state Colin Powell says in leaked private email that has Washington on edge

Powell’s leaked email, which was among thousands of his messages posted earlier this week to the website DCLeaks.com, provides fodder for defenders of Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server while she served as secretary of state from 2009 to 2013. The Democratic presidential nominee has faced withering criticism from Republicans for exchanging emails with her aides that contained sensitive government information.

screen-shot-2016-09-17-at-1-48-29-pmThe leak about Israeli nukes is just another example of how “careful” a person Powell is (and Powell thinks Donald Trump is a loose cannon?).   But what is bizarre about some of the reaction is how Powell’s use of a private email account, or his insulting remarks toward Hillary and her husband, could be “fodder” for anything in Hillary’s imageedit_2_8128764975favor?

Colin Powell is a strong Democrat supporter who poses as a Republican when by doing so, he can discredit any GOP policy, initiative, or person.

Before he voted for Barack Obama twice, he did the best he could, while trying to remain covert, to undermine George W. Bush and his administration while he was serving in it.

What he apparently regarded as his best opportunity to do that was the phony Valerie Plame fiasco. Powell knew before a Special Prosecutor was named, before another Republican poser, James Comey, realized the same fiasco was his opportunity to ingratiate himself to the Democrats and the liberal media, before Patrick Fitzgerald even began his persecution of Scooter Libby, Powell knew that it was his own chief of staff Richard Armitage who had freely leaked Plame’s name and her role in her husband’s treachery.

But as any “good” *faithless servant, Powell kept quiet about Armitage, letting Libby take the rap for a non-crime, undercutting Bush and tarnishing the reputations of key figures of the Bush team (Cheney, Rove, et al), and letting Fitzgerald and Comey look like “courageous truth-to-power” champions.

Powell’s mendacious character has been apparent for years. Publication of his emails only confirms it.  However  the “Powell did it too” excuse from Hillary Clinton regarding critics of her national security hazarding e-mail usage is bogus.  Even if an apples to apples comparison applied, it does not, one cannot excuse the other. But to the extent they do apply in that case and for other matters, we wish this provision of New York law was available to the citizens of the country as regards those two.

Under New York law, the faithless servant doctrine permits an employer to recover compensation already paid to an employee where:

the employee has engaged in misconduct that constitutes a breach of the duty of loyalty or good faith
