A couple of takes on “the ‘king’s” speech…and an observation

Trump’s Speech: A Disorganized Talk With Many Choice Lines  ( John Merline –  Investor’s Daily)

“Organizationally, Donald Trump’s acceptance speech at the GOP convention was a mess. It felt as though a pro wrote the opening, then Donald took over. “There’s always been a disconnect between what pundits and political insiders hear when Donald Trump speaks and what rank-and-file Republicans hear. “Now we are told that the great debate is about who gets to use which bathroom. This is a distraction from our real problems. Who cares?” GOP convention speaker, Peter Thiel, gay billionaire

“The crowd erupted with a standing ovation that turned into a short chant of “USA! USA! USA!”

I do, however, agree with the suggestion that “who gets to use which bathroom” should not be “the great debate”. Males use the “men’s/boy’s”public restroom, females use the “women’s/girl’s”. “Confusion” about one’s gender should be treated as any other mental or emotional disorder, compassionately and realistically.
