Swamp effluent oozes out

  • Is attrition the only way we are going to see the swamp drained?

We note IRS Commissioner Koskinen leaves, commenting what is the sine qua non of the bureaucrat mindset: “survival is its own reward.”   Mind you not service and integrity . . . survival.

Such a put upon guy takes pride as he put upon innocent people.

The New York Times happily mentions a Obama inspector general report  that, hey,  the IRS denied liberal organizations too!! Umhmmm.  And what was the ratio and, shall we say, comparative clarity of the denials to c-4 applications from Tea Party or conservative groups?

Then we see that:  Consumer chief Richard Cordray resigning, expected to run for Ohio gov   Associated Press:

Cordray plans to resign his office by the end of November. He is expected to return to his home state of Ohio to run for governor. The Democrat has been a leading critic of President Donald Trump within the government.

He was the first confirmed head of the independent agency established by Dodd-Frank, the landmark banking law created after the 2008 economic crisis that was designed to prevent future meltdowns
