“I hope Trump is assassinated!”

- She won’t apologize!
- She “regrets” posting the comment.
Maybe she regrets that her comment could, and probably should, result in a felony charge and potential jail time.
No doubt the familiar “defense” of “freedom of speech” will be invoked, a concept the left reserves only for themselves.
However, an expression such as that by Missouri State Senator Maria Chappelle-Nadal, is NOT ‘protected free speech”, any more than “yelling ‘fire’ in a crowded theater”.
We are supposed to understand that Ms. Chappelle-Nadal was “upset” about President Trump’s “controversial comments” regarding Charlottesville.

If being “upset” about another’s comments provides license to incite (no other term is more accurate) violence against the president of the United States, this society has indeed become a radical anarchy, a long time dream of the radical left! (note: the alleged killer of 2 police officers in Florida was also “upset” about “Charlottesville”.)
Will we see the Kansas City Star’s editorial board speak out in full and ‘righteous’ condemnation of Ms. Chappelle-Nadal’s remarks as they are always very quick to do for any of their many perceived transgressions by Republicans and conservatives?
