Asstounding Obamalogic regarding Guantanamo

Along the logic of  “no laws — no criminals”

images“Officials” admit that Americans have been killed by released Guantanamo prison detainees . . . and, while unfortunate, the bigger picture needs to be considered.

And what would that be?:

“There are unfortunately going to be acts of terrorism, probably whether the facility is opened or closed,” Wolosky said. “The proper analysis is, ‘What are the risks of keeping it open in light of the very obvious use of that facility as a propaganda tool,’ which, frankly, you should not have to question.”

Given the logic of this statement, it follows that “PRISONS ARE RECRUITING TOOLS FOR CRIMINALS”, AND LAW ENFORCEMENT INCREASES LAWBREAKING”. (And you should not have to question that either?)
HUH?!

Under the Obama administration, it has become obvious and undeniable that persons in high government positions are capable, and even eager, to stand before the entire nation and make claims so ridiculous that if spoken in everyday circumstances, they would be laughed out of the room.

In Obamamerika, such people say this stuff with a straight face and our media nods approvingly and commends the speaker’s candor and honesty.

Officials Say Guantanamo Transfers Have Killed Americans                                 Via Real Clear Poilitics   By Richard Lardner, AP

WASHINGTON (AP) — Americans have been killed by prisoners released from the detention center at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, a senior Obama administration official told lawmakers Wednesday, triggering sharp criticism from Republicans opposed to shuttering the facility.    . . .

“When anybody dies it is tragedy. We don’t want anybody to die because we transfer detainees,” Lewis said. “However, it’s the best judgment and the considered judgment of this administration and the previous administration that … we should close” the Guantanamo detention center.
