How is it possible to characterize this principal as anything other than a complete idiot.

It is frightening to consider that there may be many, many more such people running our schools, indoctrinating our children with this kind of idiocy.      Via Fox News

“Bruce Vento Elementary School, in St. Paul, has decided to stop celebrating Valentine’s Day along with other “dominant holidays” including Thanksgiving and Christmas.

“My personal feeling is we need to find a way to honor and engage in holidays that are inclusive of our student population,” Principal Scott Masini wrote in a letter to parents.

“I have come to the difficult decision to discontinue the celebration of the dominant holidays until we can come to a better understanding of how the dominant view will suppress someone else’s view,” the principal noted.”

Has “Principal Scott Masini” ever heard of the concept of “ASSIMILATION”. (Scotty, do you know why they are DOMINANT holidays? Because this is the country where the culture  observes them!) Maybe it should be pronounced VERRY Slowly for him. Whatever college he received a degree from, if he did, should apologize and close it doors!

Cornyn of Texas now joins the ranks of GOP senators I thought were the “good guys” but turn out to be Establishment “Stupidocrats”!   From Rick Manning writing at Net Right Daily.

“It doesn’t hurt to show that you actually care. This is a statement that is not just symbolic, but actually shows that you care about people. It doesn’t hurt to show some empathy.”
That was Sen. John Cornyn’s (R-Texas) in the New York Times, endorsing legislation that will result in the early release of thousands of federal prison inmates.

Cornyn, whose sense of empathy must have developed at Washington, D.C. cocktail parties, should prove he truly cares for people whose neighborhoods have been ravaged by drugs and violent crimes by moving to those one of those neighborhoods so he can see for himself the impact of releasing early thousands of hardened drug kingpins and violent criminals back on to the streets of America. . . .

“An enterprising reporter might ask about his newfound faith in the good will of violent drug kingpins who he apparently now thinks should be put back on the streets of America.

When did John Cornyn’s empathy switch from the victims of the destruction of families, friends and communities to the purveyors of death resting safely in federal prison?

What happened to John Cornyn?”

Gary Bauer writing at Campaign for Working Families had this to say about recent statements from the one of the winning republican establishment choices for president:

Dole Does It Again

I know Bob Dole is not currently a leader of the Republican Party, but he seems to be out a lot recently knocking conservatives like Ted Cruz.

I listened to an interview with Bob Dole on Neil Cavuto over the weekend. God bless him for his admirable service to our country in World War II. But, although it wasn’t his intention, in ten minutes Senator Dole gave a perfect summary of why so many conservatives are disgusted with the leadership of the GOP.

For example, Dole blasted Cruz an “extreme conservative.” This is completely wrong. There is not one position that Senator Cruz takes that is inconsistent with the Republican platform of the last 25 years. By the way, has Senator Dole ever called Barack Obama an extremist of any kind?

Dole said that Cruz acts like “It’s my way or the highway.” That is straight off of Barack Obama’s talking points. Obama regularly uses that phrase to attack the entire Republican Party. But, in fact, it is Obama who regularly follows that philosophy.

Dole said Cruz caused the government shutdown. No he didn’t. Obama shut down the government because he refused to compromise. Again, Dole repeated the talking points of the Democrat Party.

Dole said Sen. Cruz can’t win a general election against the Democrats. This is coming from the man who couldn’t stop Bill Clinton from getting a second term.

Time and again this year, we have seen old line party leaders like Dole, and quite a few new party leaders, showing more passion against the conservative candidates leading in the polls than they have demonstrated against Barack Obama and what he has done to our country.

Sometimes some of these so-called “leaders” seem more concerned about their continued control of the GOP than the Democrats continued control of America.

Dole was just feeling his Political Viagra; Had the interview lasted four hours, Bob would have had to seek medical attention.
Seriously, there are a number of personal qualities to admire in Bob Dole, but he is not one to give advice on winning the presidency and his endorsement of a candidate has little value, given the peril this nation is in.
